Cisco IPTel Solution for Dekker Zevenhuizen
Dekker Zevenhuizen was founded in 1930 and is specialized in supplying kitchen equipment and accessories to high-end kitchen supply stores. Their focus is on customer contact. Which is why they continuously try to improve and bring their service to a higher but also more in-depth level. Dekker Zevenhuizen was looking to provide its internal sales department with a better and faster way to communicate and demanded the latest technologies in order to secure the best services for its customers.
Ferranti suggested a Cisco IPTel solution capable of meeting their high demands, including the necessary degree of future-oriented scalability.
In short, the intention was to offer a centralized IP-based telephony solution with advanced call centre features and the potential to integrate with Microsoft Dynamics AX. It is part of Dekkers Zevenhuizen’s general strategy to continuously optimize the company’s availability for its customers and suppliers. The new solution thus also had to be the differentiator with regard to Dekker Zevenhuizen’s new communication strategy. In collaboration with Ferranti, a concept was developed which enabled the integration of the IPTel solution with various other company applications. More possibilities were also required for the control and quantification of all in-coming communication for both existing and new customers.
Ferranti Computer Systems’ proposed solution comprises professional and scaleable components such as HP’s latest generation DL320 servers, Cisco’s Unified Communications Manager, Unified Contact Center Express, Cisco voice gateways, Cisco security routers, Cisco IP phones and Microsoft’s Axapta CRM.
